The Australian Government’s Entrepreneurs’ Programme provides expert advice, strategic guidance, funding and grant incentives to accelerate your business’ success.
The Entrepreneurs’ Programme is an excellent opportunity for Australian businesses to excel and evolve by receiving support to fill a range of business deficits, which is particularly valuable in the current socio-economic climate. Whether you want to grow your business, have questions that only an expert can answer, or are looking to expand nationally or international, the Entrepreneurs’ Programme may provide you with the avenues to fulfill these needs.
The Programme is available to businesses operating in government-specified growth sectors including:
- Advanced manufacturing
- Food and agribusiness
- Medical technologies and pharmaceuticals
- Mining equipment
- Technology and services
- Oil, gas, and energy resources
If you do fall into one of the eligible categories, it is well worth investigating your interest and eligibility further. In terms of interest, the Programme comprises four elements that applicants can submit applications under:
1. Business Management | Provides advice, facilitation services and grants to help build capacity, improve capability, extend networks, and grow your business. |
2. Innovation Connections | Provides access to experts who work with your business to identify knowledge gaps that are preventing your business growth. |
3. Accelerating Commercialisation | Helps you find the right commercial solutions for novel products, processes, and services by connecting you with industry experts. |
4. Incubator Support | Provides grand funding to incubators to deliver support services to Australian start-ups with an international focus. |
The support gained through the Programme can be used to invest in enabling technologies and professional services underpinning those identified growth sectors. This funding can be used to help you invest in brand marketing projects with Viabrand, for example.
Funding can be between $2500 and $20,000, which must be used for up to 50% of eligible project costs. That means that you will need the capital to cover the other half of the project. If you’re already investing in your business’ growth, this is a great way to double the power of your investment and obtain great advice from industry experts.
Additional eligibility criteria and information for each element varies, visit the Entrepreneurs’ Programme website: www.business.gov.au/Grants-and-Programs/Entrepreneurs-Programme
